I got to thinking about this question , so let’s find out how we all compare.
What are your strengths or weakness in fishing?
Strengths/Weakness
1- Crankbaits/ squarebill / shallow
2- Crankbaits / deep divers
3- Worms/ Creature / lizards / brush hogs, plastics
4- Jigs
5- Drop shots
6- Top water / spinnerbaits / poppers / walking stick baits.
7- Chatterbaits
8- Spoons
9- Shakeyhead/Ned
10- Wacky Rig
11- Frog
12- Jerkbaits
13- Swim / Glide baits
14- Other / list them

Strengths are;
1,3, 7, 9,
Weakness are;
5, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13
The others I’m neither strong or weak, just average I guess.

Biggest weaknesses is flipping/punching and off-shore fishing. Everything else I'm pretty decent at.

S:1-9, 11-12, 14 W:10, 13 I’m comfortable “junk” fishing, and usually have an assortment of baits on the deck to cover top, shallow, medium, deep(25’)…my favorites are jig, buzzbait, square bill and fishing shallow cover, but if I could only have one bait it would be a jig.

3 - Texas rig soft plastics
3 - Carolina rig soft plastics
4 - Swim Jigs
4 - Flipping jigs
7 - Chatterbaits
11 - Frog/PopNPerch
13 - Swimbaits
Weaknesses - I pulled them out of my arsenal so I don't waste my time with baits I don't have confidence in.

Some of my buds may disagree but I am proficient with all of them. I don't DS much because I feel that I am purposely targeting small fish when doing it. I've caught one DD using it but I do not consider myself a finesse fisherman. The DD I caught I was DS'ing with 50 braid all the way to the 5/0 hook with a 3/4 oz weight and a 10" Sultan worm.
I don't fall in love with any technique. Most of the time I don't even tie baits on until I get on the water and look at it.

I have 24-30 setups in the boat and every bait known to mankind, but I will have one rod on the deck for every trip.
I guess that makes me a perfect 10.
