Need some suggestions on bait and best places to find them on Texoma. Boat houses, South side rocks or back of the creeks.
I have a no-moving-parts pole and some red wigglers....

You can't go wrong with worms. The places you mention should all produce from just prior to sunrise for a couple of hours.

As mentioned above. You can't go wrong with worms. Boat slips and other structure will be holding Bluegill. Bluegill usually bite all throughout the day. Usually this time of year while fishing lakes, I find fish in 8 to 15 feet of water. Grass beds and ledges will hold them as well. Good luck and let us know how you do.

We used to fish the small island under the willow trees and caught plenty. Used crickets, worms, and can corn to catch some nice bluegills. We also used a tiny black or yellow inline spinner name cutie pie. Anywhere you find shade give it a try. Good luck!

I know some folks on TFF kinda frown on it, but if you have side imaging, the gills are still on some beds. I managed these 20+ fat ones this morning on Lake Conroe. Find the beds and drag a tiny drop shot rig with a real red wiggler pinned to a #6 bait holder hook and hang on.

Bluegill harvesting is fine to probably everyone on this forum that targets them. What has upset people on here in the past is when people harvest way more than what you are showing in your photo. There have been some posts in the past that show around a 100 bluegills on the cleaning table at a time. One post was from Conroe. The worst offenders were the 3 guides that were fishing Fairfield lake. Over harvesting is not a good thing of any fish. Especially bedding fish.
