Hello everyone, I have a quick question and wanted to see if I could get an answer from you guys. Does anyone know if you can legally bring in Cuban cigars back to the US from a cruise to Mexico? Thank you in advance.

The simple answer is, “No, Cuban cigars are illegal.” President Donald Trump reinstated a hard line against Cuba and now no Cuban goods can be brought into the United States. The US Customs and Border Protection website explains the current regulations quite simply. from Google

Interesting question.

According to this webpage, nope.

You are permitted to bring 100 cigars or 200 cigarettes (one carton) into the U.S. duty free. Cuban cigars are prohibited.

Thank You. I was reading that as well, and some other places I was reading said yes. Pretty confusing, I guess today will be cigar smoking day!

I’ve had a few bootleg Cubans, years ago. I didn’t really care that much for them honestly, but I’m no expert

1. WTH would you want to do anything that in any way supports a communist country?
2. WTH would you wany to suck on what equates to a dog turd?

Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

Just order them online and have them shipped. Or ship them to yourself from a port before coming home.

I was under the impression, unless a Cuban cigar was made by only the most famous rollers.

It's a complete trash of a cigar. Pumped out for the tourists trade.

I've had Cuban ceegars before. They are OK and I didn't get the hype around them. I did have an amazing stogie from Venezuela a year ago, hand rolled and smooth as butter. So I now look for those over the Cuban ones.

I remember a documentary on AF1. It showed how JFK always seemed to walk off the plane with his hand in his jacket pocket. That was because he had a lit cigar in it and didn't want to put it out.

They also said that when he first banned imports from Cuba he asked someone to buy him a supply of his favorite Cuban cigar before he announced the ban.
