Hey Mark!

I would recommend KD's place. He has rented rooms for years. This is where my parents used to spend their weekends before they bought their cabin. His shoreline is on a creek about half a mile from the main lake. Some really big fish have been caught in there and I know there are Carp there too. Gar are a common sight and I saw a friend of my dads catch an 8lb Bowfin there. You will love it. The only problem with this area is that the shore space is limited. I dont think that more than 2 Carpers could fish there. Its a very simple and beautiful place and the best part is that its dirt cheap. It would be a great place to bring the family.

If you call him let him know that Jason, Pam, & Larry sent you.

Sweet, exactly what I was looking for. I'm thinking a solo trip to break Brians record. I always catch bigger fish on solo trips or with one or two guys max.

Keep an eye for the carp for me. If you see something large, 30lbs+ please let me know.

try this link http://www.ets-systems.com/lakefork/services/motel.htm and post a report on the conditions of the place you stay. The wife are planning on going there for the BBFT tourny in Aug.
