I’ve randomly hit buttons, not enough to annoy me but it does happen. Exactly---- I figure some of Yawls wife has sore toes after a night of dancing.

Glad everyone else hits the N button too. Glad I have a Ghost trolling motor. LOL No N button. I love my Ghost. Kinda seems Minn kota is still a step behind in my book. Which is surprising seeing how long they’ve been making motors.

I had two Ultrex motors, I hit that dam N button hundreds of times, it needs to be in a different spot or maybe set up to where you have to tap it twice to activate it, it was very annoying and one of the reasons i went to a Lowrance, a better motor imo.

On the same note….why is the constant button so hard to get to? I have to pirouette on the front of my boat to get my toe down there in the recessed trolling tray!

On the same note….why is the constant button so hard to get to? I have to pirouette on the front of my boat to get my toe down there in the recessed trolling tray! I use the constant button a lot. So I put a spacer under the pedal to make it flush with the deck.. Also screwed a spacer on top of the button.

Sounds like the "popcorn" button on a microwave was intended for most of you posting on this thread.

Can they get rid of the annoying N button that I don't understand purpose of and constantly hit with my foot It's auto pilot basically, press the "N" and then you turn on the motor to constant "on" and then you point the motor in the direction heading you want it to travel. Adjust the speed as you want it. it will then maintain that course and speed adjusting for wind or current. Works great when fishing a fence line or road bed. Its been a few weeks but i finally learned something on here

You hit Continuous and point it in the direction you want and hit N and it will drive straight in that direction. I use it often. Same here. Great for running a bank...N + prop and go.
