I have been following this for last couple of hours.
Started watching “news” channels for an hour.
Of course “Fox News” has nothing.
CNN and MSNBC are covering it.

I'll believe the 25,000 troops in Moscow when I see it, but if even half of that materializes, Putin will be in trouble. He will have to pull resources out of Ukraine to protect the Kremlin, or have to ask for help from an ally to put down an uprising. Kazakstan has already said no. He is left with has Iran, Syria, North Korea, and China. Iran and Syria are already held down by Israel, and North Korea doesn't have anything but nukes. So when was the last time China helped anyone???

Sure This is just like a few months ago when Putin was dying of cancer You don't think this is really happening? I don't think there are 25,000 of them, my guess is it's something closer to 15-20 thousand. At this point though, Prigozhin has gone all in. This ends with his death or Putin's removal from office. This is the most meaningful story I can recall happening in the last 30 years. I have no clue what the outcome will be or what the broader geopolitical impact will be. It's going to depend on the few Russian troops between Wagner and Moscow. Do they dig in and put up a fight? If so Putin probably survives. If they step aside or join Prigozhin massive change is coming to Russia. The only thing I know for sure is that Putin is far far weaker at this point than most imagined.
