Im on Lake Houston. Water temp is 80s and seems like everywhere Largemouth are supposed to be - deep ledges, structure(timber, stumps etc..) sunken bridges, roadbeds....catching tons of white bass. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions? Throw something that white bass don’t eat….throwing cranks, spinners, and white flukes is asking for white bass.

This. I seldom catch LMB where sand bass are. They don’t want to compete with them.

Throw a white bass colored 5 or 6 inch swimbait on a 1/2oz UNpainted jig head with a big 5/0 open hook.

Noticed same thing today, was mainly in W Fork and caught bunches of them,,,,, in bass spots. Water temp 82

That lake is tough, awesome Crappie bite in the spring though. I’d rather fish Conroe any day and that’s saying a lot.
