After researching yesterday, I discovered the battery I have (old Sears Platinum bought April 2013) is the same as the Odyssey and was made by Odyssey, so that's the one I'll be buying. Can't argue with 10+ years!

Have no interest in Lithium, and not concerned about weight, so this appears to be the best choice for me.

https://proguidebatteries.com/collections/all-batteries/products/31mx925 Any thoughts on this battery? It's cheaper and lighter than the X2.

One major difference is the length of warranty, although many have said that the Battery Plus guys have tried to weasel out of the X2 warranty. Same amp hours, a bit less cranking amps and mercury prefers a bit more on their motors, less reserve capacity by 20mins. Definitely less expensive though.

You couldn’t give me an agm, I definitely wouldn’t purchase one, but if you like it.

This battery is as good as those, although it’s a lead acid.

I have had an X2 for a couple of years, have two 16 inch graphs with live target, so far it has been great, probably would have gooten a lithium but at the time there was questions on whether or not Mercury would warranty engine with one.

Just replaced the 3 blue top in my boat. They were dated 11/11 and 1/12, 1/12. Heck, the two TM batteries are still going strong, I’ll use them elsewhere. The starter batteries was showing signs of age. Hope the new ones last as long as the old ones.

I have been using the Napa’s for a while now. Great battery but they are still toast after two years.
