Constant Pursuit for sure. I like a big ole plastic and ATX Lure makes some good ones.

I agree with Zman being nearly indestructible. Just keep them away from other plastics to avoid a gooey mess.
For normal plastics I will give the nod to Bonehead. I use their little minnow bait for Sandbass quite a bit and they hold up pretty well. Whatever plastic you go with I would add a drop of super glue to the head of the body to secure it to the lead head if you are really wanting to stretch the life of your bait. I use that trick on my little micro style baits and it easily triples the life of them.

And I will go ahead and throw my 2cents if for the least durable. That award goes to Berkley Gulp. Gulp works but is way to tender. And dont try to boil them to straighten them out either. That trick works on regular plastics but the Gulp will melt. Trust me I tried it. LOL

Z man is also good for sure. I have trouble getting it on the jigheads though Try the Z-Man Micro heads they just came out with within the last year. They have small stout hooks and a wire keeper. The wire keeper makes all the difference in getting them up on the head and staying there. I hate paying a buck each for them but they sure make a difference when dealing with Zman plastic. They work great on the little micro lures as well like the little Bass Assassin Tiny Shad. Caught a pretty decent Flathead on one last week and the hook never bent at all.

Slab Bandits from Crazy Angler are the best I've ever used, and they catch fish!

I guide and use Limits Tackle baits exclusively with great success..... No bait keeper required and the bait holds in place and last over a couple limits of crappie easily...... Plus he's retired USA military and his baits are made right here in Texas.....
