I’ve been missing a lot of fish lately I get them hooked and then they wind up coming off. I’ve been using the Zappu Inchi weighted wacky very light weight. What do you guys use and please try to be specific. I know you will loose fish occasionally but I’m landing 3 out of ten bites. Can’t figure what I’m doing wrong
I spend most of my time fishing the rest I just waste

What is your set up? Rod, line, bait, etc? That may contribute to your hook up issues. I primarily use the Gamakatsu Finesse Wide Gap Hooks. Normaly throw a 5' Senko style bait. I typically use the 3/0 or 4/0 size. I typically use Falcon Cara Weightless worm rod, baitcaster, 30# braid to 15# Fluoro leader. For weighted hook it looks just like the Zappu Inchi weighted. I don't have issues losing fish. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Gamakatsu_Finesse_Wide_Gap_Hooks/descpage-GFWGH.html

Buckeye Flick it and the Gamakatsu G finesse jig head are both good ones, IMO

I’m using a Dobyns 703 it’s a medium spinning rod. 10lb braid to 8lb fluroleader. Maybe I’m just having some bad luck

I agree it could be a rod problem or user error. Have you had this problem before?

Does anyone know where to purchase Falcon weedless wacky hook. It’s the best weighted wacky hook I have ever used and when I went to tacklewarehouse they are no longer available.

So many of the mom & pop tackle makers come into and go out of business. A great weighted hook was made by Bayou Tackle at Fork but they're gone. Another was Hall's hooks, gone too.

Exactly what I use. The twin weed guards help to keep the hook pinned. Excellent hook/land ratio for me.

I've never thrown the Zappu Inchi, but man the hook design looks like it was made to skin hook and lose fish. The hook looks a lot better on the Berkley one. I throw the Reins tungsten ones which just have a round bend hook.

Mustad ultra point impact weedless hook weighted. Straight shank worm hook if fishing grass with no brush. I am not a fan of the lead head style wacky hooks, you will catch more fish unweighted than weighted due to fishing slower. This time of year, some of the bites you are missing could be bream.
I do not throw the wacky rig much these days, but was schooled many times by a great friend and fisherman on Toledo bend who would fish non-weedless wacky rigs right up in the thick buckbrush. Seems to get bites when nothing else will.
