In the 20 years I've lived here on this ranch. I have never seen it bloom. First time seeing it's pretty blooms.

They are miserable to bump into, but they make nice slingshots๐Ÿ˜ƒ. I made this one slingshot out of a fork from a cholla pencil cactus.
