Lake is only 6" low. Can easily make it up the Yegua now, doubt it will do much good at this point though,

She's full again!!!! 237.95, 238 is full pool. All the ramps should open back up now.

Think it's too late for the crappie to head back in the creek shallows?

The creeks out to start clearing up. The lake still hasn't full settled in. It came up again over night which tells me the creeks are probably still up. She's sitting right at 237.99! I'm gonna try to take the boat out this weekend and poke around.

I went out to the lake this morning. The numbers of shad do seem to be increasing but I didn't see any spawning activity. The temperatures tonight are expected to stay in the 70s so tomorrow morning might be really good.

I caught 2 keeper white bass, an undersized white bass and got broke off by a hybrid. There was another fisherman with 4 poles set out with live shad. He caught a keeper hybrid, a couple undersized hybrids and a white bass while I was there.

Thanks for the Info sir. Well fishies Newman’s Saturday and yesterday. Left saturday with 23, yesterday with 12.
Been getting reports of good number being caught even at nails creek however the water looks low at nails.
Gentleman landed a 24” hybrid at Newman’s yesterday too. So is it a late run??? I would say so I’ll clean the fish and see what the row says.
Good healthy size fish too, I’ll keep y’all updated

I think I'll run the boat up the creek this weekend if I can make it out to the lake. Intended to go out this past Sunday but it was a bit breezy, decided to work on projects at the house

Thank You B-Sal. Finally another good day on the Yegua. I went to Newman this evening. I ended up catching around 30. I strung up a few for a friend.

Glad I can help J-Moe, I’ve been getting stir crazy since the last time I went to the steps and got skunked lol
Did do good one weekend at the steps. 44 on the Clouser.

But since then been busy with work and was finally able to get up to Newman’s, after a local buddy told me he was catching. So I’m just passing on the favor lol
I’m glad you were blessed with some fish

Wow, J-Moe! Nice Catch. Not used to seeing limits of white bass at Newman's when everything is so green.
