We are looking for a companion for it. Same kind of duck.
It is tame so I presume it's some kind of domesticated duck.

not gonna find one to buy if it is a wild duck that decided to adopt that pond as home.
just go buy 3-5 ducks and turn them loose, ducks are pretty social so he should make friends quick.

Should be some mallards for sale somewhere?
If I were going to add ducks that is what I would pick.
