Does anyone know of good lakes within a few hours of Houston to crappie fish at from kayaks? Also has anybody kayaked fished at Lake Somerville for crappie or catfish? Also has anybody crappie fished at Stubblefield or North Lake Conroe?

If you want to fish for crappie out of a kayak, go to Sheldon Reservoir or Luces Bayou on east Lake Houston.
