Tried real hard for sunfish for about 3 hours, but only got 12 small ones...(only one was borderline picture worthy)...Probably about another 3 weeks b4 they start showing up in size & numbers. Ended up with 21 bass & 5 catfish...biggest bass was around 4 lbs. 6 oz. Water temp was 69-72 all over the lake. Most bass caught on Culprit worms like the one in the pic. All sunfish & catfish caught on Gulp Alive minnows in chartreuse color. Lake was pretty busy but that's life...

Thanks Chuck & Leo...Yes ...When they turn on they are extremely hungry....probably because of all that "Good Lovin" works up an appetite. Thrash...the color is actually called Tequila Shad & it is very hard to beat. My theory is that the shiny light purple looks a lot like the skin color of the Tilapia they feed on.

When i lived and worked in Georgia in the 80's every fisherman there used the Culprit worms. There was one color called Green Shrimp that was deadly on Clarks Hill Reservoir, I have looked in stores and online for that color and can't find it.
