All they did was raise the ceiling for pricing.
The other brands now can raise prices as well.
But, technically you do not need to "rich" to afford one. Nah. Not rich. Stupid maybe! Or somewhere in between. I'm bummed that Minn Kota didn't upgrade the Ultrex to brushless before this came out. Now they have an excuse to jack the price even more when they do. Right. Man. All I can say is WHERE DOES IT STOP?  I should have just bought a brand new boat 3 years ago. Everything that attached to the things are going up exponentially. Crazy. I bet by the end of the decade, a “good” bass boat will be $150k.

They will sell a bunch of them. Their customer service is outstanding. Plus, It looks like a truly re-engineered trolling motor.
If I ever need a trolling motor, I will go with Power Pole.

Lifetime warranty on shaft and two years on everything else....Wow Wow good? Or wow bad? Cause that is not as good as the warranty I had on my Ultrex. It had three year and lifetime shaft. About half the price of this TM.

I just put a deposit down a new boat and with the prices of the ones that were out of my price range, this is a drop in the bucket when most add on 2 PPoles, 2-4 12in graphs and a FFS, might as well. I mean you gotta look the best at that Tue nighter or Sat club tourney with a $220 1st prize right!!!

I was able to watch the video before it got taken down. Feels like they're trying to solve a lot of problems that don't really exist lol. They really emphasize how great having a titanium shaft is but how many people (excluding pros with an easily accessible service trailer nearby) are shattering their ultrex shafts?? It looks like a badass motor but damn, $5k is steep lol. Agree. I would rather break a shaft than rip out some fiberglass at the mounting bolt holes.
