They are taking over the old El Rancho Grande location.

They are taking over the old El Rancho Grande location. They already have. It's a mistake on the landlords part and the operator. It will be regretted by both for that camp bowie location.

Doubt it. The restaurant owner thinks that little local crowd, which we are one of, is gonna magically drive to north side. Some will at times but that place is supported mainly from the neighborhoods around it. I could see him being gone completely in that new location in 3 years.

You are basically parking up and down the back street behind it and walking in questionable area. Even now when the new location is slow as hell.

And that building on camp bowie is so far behind curve on code it may take a bulldozer to get it up to standards for a new CO for a new business. In my opinion this is a problem of both parties not seeing reality

I see from that article that Edelweiss is closing as well and hoping to open elsewhere. That place was great when I was a kid, but sucked the last time I went. I have not been to The Original, but my sister used to go all the time when she worked near there and loved it. Sad that the two parties couldn't pull their heads out and work together.

I see from that article that Edelweiss is closing as well and hoping to open elsewhere. That place was great when I was a kid, but sucked the last time I went. I have not been to The Original, but my sister used to go all the time when she worked near there and loved it. Sad that the two parties couldn't pull their heads out and work together. they also had the old Italian Inn location by ridglea CC. Miss that place!
