I told everyone on here months ago that Brady is the #1 guide in the world right now for giant bass. In addition to putting CLIENTS on 13lb+ fish you also get to learn from arguably the best live sonar fisherman on the planet.

I've fished with Brady many days. Dude has Michael Jordan level casting accuracy, instincts and dedication.

Hello? Lake Fork? Are you still there? Calling Lake Fork Hello? Even the Fork guides go to Ivie now… the new Crown Jewel of Texas.

Congrats to the anglers and guide, been watching these come in on the ShareLunker FB page. Incredible fish.

Four in 4 days. That Dalton Smith guy from Kentucky is also a Team 6 guy. He is the guy that had two 14's same day last month.

Never heard of him. How long has he been guiding?

I would venture to say most of these 13's are from the 2014 stocking class of which they only put 383,000 of them in there......that's mind blowing how many fish that big may potentially be in there. Also of note #627 from last year weighed 14.82 and was stocked in 2012 so that was an average of 1.48 pounds a year. Think about those fish from 2010 (275,000) that were stocked and put that 1.48 a year times 13 years and you come up with 19.2 pounds and those fish can live to be 15 years old or more. I think there is a world record fish in there now and or a potential for one in the next couple of years. DNA has also proven before that a bass in a public texas lake reached 16 pounds in 7 years. The potential of the lake by looking at the numbers is insane and those fish aren't built like any I have ever seen or caught in my life so yes I believe there is a WR there. I hope against hope it holds the water level or adds to it though!

They should just build a small hatchery at Ivie for the sharelunker program. Probably be cheaper than gassing up those Tundras for the non stop driving between Athens and the wild west.

There is nobody on TFF that would be prouder to see Texas produce a 20 pound bass than me.

Your math is correct but it also assumes all things being perfect. It would also have to assume the water quality remained perfect for 13 years, and it does not. It also assumes full survival rate for 275K minnow sized bass. Actual survival rate is probably more like 1-3% of that.

Ivie is most likely the only lake in TX right now with the potential to produce a new state record. The window of opportunity is open at this time but it won't remain open forever. If it did Fork would be spitting out 30 pound bass every month.

Congrats to them all. I applaud anyone out there catching 13lb plus fish. It's a hell of an accomplishment.
