My guess would have been an eagle, but after googling, seems like Turkey was used a lot for those. Pretty dang cool item, unless you were about to get scalped by the person wearing it!

Dyed turkey feathers.
What does the tag say?
I'm betting it is an replica of a headdress and made with legal feathers. If original, the tag will state that but I say not eagle feathers.
