Can you put garlic salt on chicken livers without setting them in the sun and if so do I need to drain the blood I'm new to this and I don't want to set them out in the sun because the sell might offend my house mate s

What says you can't?

I have a small tub of chicken livers, salted. It's been sitting on a shelf for a while. I've been shaking it every now and then. Smelling it too.

It smells like fried chicken livers. How could a catfish possibly resist that?
