I usually like to keep a stockpile of oil, oil filters, air filters, and some basic things like belts and hoses on the shelf in case I need one fast. Stuff has been getting harder to find for a while, but I’ve really started to notice a major uptick in pricing here in the last 3 months. Filters I used to get for about $2.50 are now $5-6, conventional oil (if you can even find it) has gone up majorly in price, gear oil up about 30%. Inflation and supply chain issues at its finest. May not seem like much but over time that extra $4-5 an oil change and higher prices for air filters and parts really adds up.

The hydraulic filter for my tractor went from $15 to $75, that was a shocker for me.

With all the talk about diesel running out, that's really going to hurt everything. Buckle up boys and girls, it's about to get rough.

Noticed the same price increases in a/c filters for the house today. The ones I use have almost doubled in price lately.
