If it would have been me I I would have let them continue on and let them weigh and hopefully get check then bust them. Then it would have stuck.

Just opened my FB and first thing I saw was pics of them and the op’s post attached along with a link to this thread. One of the local bass clubs near me shared it. I’d post those turds pics on here if they weren’t minors just everyone know what they look like

I don’t think most are suggesting cutting a break…you are using straw man arguments to make a point. I specifically said they should pay restitution, do community service, and be banned from tournaments for a period of time. For me, it’s about the punishment fitting the crime and for minors, I think a lifetime ban on tournaments and fishing license is excessive.

It’s hard to imagine them not prosecuting them after the things I’ve watched on lone star law. They are hardasses when it comes to petty stuff on there.

Dang, you are right. I know I read that, but after seeing the single individual in the boat, I forgot about the kids both admitting it. Sad, I was hoping one kid might have been innocent.
