We have Barred and Screech Owls all over. This one is specifically built for Screech Owls and going up tomorrow.
Hopefully we can get a pair to make a nest before they leave for the summer. It will have a wireless web cam installed once completed.

I like their wings and burgers.

My neighbor makes these. He's got a Hooter group on Nextdoor and folks are begging for them. He currently sales them through Mastermade feed store in Grapevine and can't keep them in stock.

We hear them, we see them, put a screech owl box up two years ago and nothing has taken up camp in it. Good Luck!

We have a barn owl that makes nightly visits to our pond area. We are supposed to have Screech Owls in our area too. So a few years back I put up a Screech Owl nesting box to see if I could attract one to our property. Nope. But we have wood ducks that keep trying to use the box the past couple years. Guess I need to make the hole bigger and just let the wood ducks use it.

Unfortunately most the screech owls have coupled up and found their nesting areas and are laying eggs about now so having a pair this year may be a longshot. If their eggs get disturbed or eaten they may look for another nest sight so that's still a possibility. But normally they start getting in their boxes about October. The good news is once they find a place they will continue to come back year after year, my brother has had screech owls come back every year for almost 20 years. They are a whole lot of fun to watch on camera

Seems like anything decent at Hooters went to Twin Peak or elsewhere.
