i threw the small one(baby bass colored) at the Mesquite City Park Pond one afternoon and in one spot caught 3 four pounders, and had one a lot bigger hit it at the bank and pull off... this was in a 10 minute span. I used to fish that pond daily and have never caught anything else remotely close to that pod of fish (with other baits). for some reason, i forgot about the bait and havent really thrown it much anymore... i used to just watch the thing swim in the water in amazement at how lifelike they look!

I actually forgot, I had the Phantom. When I saw Todd throwing the big one, I remembered, I had the little one in my bag.

I sure hope that "Gem Lake" stays locked up with the new onwership change. Very helpful stuff. Those are the only 2 lakes I fish around here. Todd you stated you mostly jig lake nac. What do you look for when you are jiggin there. Points grass near deeper water. Or both near a orange cone. I mainly throw worms and creature baits mainly because of confidence in them. Thanks for everything you have shared. I know thats hard for alot of people to do with them trying to keep all thier secrets and everything.

I hope it stays that was too I didn't realize Mrbass24 aka "The White Bass Specialists" took those pictures but it'll be all right, you would have to have been there to know. Lake Nac is set up so different than most lakes and if you have been out there looking around you realize there is not many big contour changes as far as deep points or dropoffs. All I can say is I focus on Creek Channels, those fish relate to nonothing flats and bends. Its a very hard place to drive around and see on a depth finder its more of a trial and error type deal. One of the reasons it makes that lake so good is that its not pressured on those areas.

Pretty sure those are all long gone. I looked for a night video I shot with him many moons ago with Clint Wright and couldn't find it.

Whatever happened to C A?, I remember him going into that FLW event on Texoma as the final day leader on the co-angler side and it didn't work out.
