My niece is getting married in July to some tool I've never met. She'shaving the wedding in Playa Del Carman. Dam thing is going to cost us $3,000 for three nights. Why do people think they are so special that everyone should have to shell out $3,000 to go to their wedding.

Did you say she’s shaving for the wedding night in Mexico?

I think when people do that they understand that not everyone will be able to make it. Esp if you are not that close to the Bride and the tool.

You can pass and send a nice card and little cash instead perhaps/

My younger brother did the exact same thing, what a complete and selfish waste of other people's money!
And, they decided to do it over Memorial Day weekend when lodging and airfares into Mexico on every carrier tripled in price!!
And what activities did they plan.....drinking at the pool bar every day starting around 10:00am roflmao
I was certainly happy for him and his spouse but thought they made a poor and ridiculously expensive remote wedding celebration decision.

I'd be a hard pass. Why in the world would I spend $3000 dollars to attend a wedding. loco
