Two years ago I was camping on Inks Lake wishing I could drag my boat with my camper and mad because I wasn't fishing. The family camped next to us had an RV and some kayaks. That is where I got hooked. Well, we went back there for the first time since then and I took my yak and the first evening was glorious. The fish were biting, the lake was full and clear. I went to bed that night with visions of a grand morning on the water. At midnight it started to rain and it rained for the next 12 hours. Hard. The lake came up two feet in six hours, thankfully I had pulled the yak up half way to the camp site. Needless to say, they ended up evacuating the camp ground on the end we were in and we came home. We had it easy compared to the folks that live there.
