Interesting to me are the comments about not spending money on a Rolex that will increase in value, yet these same folks will drop 80K+ on a bass boat which will lose value. My BassCat and Rolexes were purchased on the used market and bought far below current value. Insurance replaced a Rolex Datejust that my wife had gotten water in while snorkeling in Cozumel. It was appraised at over 4 times what I had paid for it and Allstate wrote the check for the appraisal amount. Concerning the statements that a Citizen, Tag or Swiss Army watch offers the same function as a Rolex, I agree 100%, One the same note a Rossi revolver performs the same function as a Colt Python, so why don't we all buy a Rossi . Maybe a Hi-Point 9mm does pretty much the same as an H&K or Glock, which would you prefer to own? The list goes on and on ad infinitum.

Seems that’s more of posers pretending for a social status thing than a “rich” thing.. The “rich” folk I know didn’t get rich buying into the cliques, they are actually the cheapest sob’s I’ve ever met in my life..
