I saw one that same night you posted this... Today I was in yard and watched something gliding out of pine tree. Had no idea what it was as it came down but thought it was in somewhat control of its glide.. landed softly. I destroyed it trying to pick it up as it was grabbing the grass. Got on line to see how small they get. It must have just hatched and fell out of egg/nest. Interesting business.
