I was doing a service call at a residence this morning when the lady of the house got one of the Amazon scam calls, after advising her or what was what, we had a good time with Pakastani sounding Roy

I was doing a service call at a residence this morning when the lady of the house got one of the Amazon scam calls, after advising her or what was what, we had a good time with Pakastani sounding Roy I got 18 voice mails from Roy before I decided to answer and played the game before I had to say some things and have had no more calls. This was saturday evening.

Dan Same here, but I have to admit I have learned a few things from the training. Unfortunately, they beat it into our heads so much that nobody will open any attachments or links on an email anymore.

I get this sh!t from our IT Dept... And I have to take a refresher course every time... Seems Corp. has time to waste... Dan Same here, but I have to admit I have learned a few things from the training. Unfortunately, they beat it into our heads so much that nobody will open any attachments or links on an email anymore. We have a Phishing button on the tool bar of our email. Everytime IT sends a new training link out, I hit the phishing button which they have to review. They threatened to turn me into HR the last time I did it...lol

The bottom line is, NEVER use a link that is in an email. I have gotten a few. Using my links, not the ones in the email I can get to the real site and see if what the email is wanting to do is real. Had a couple spam ones from one of my banks. I reported them to the bank. They actually have a group of people that investigate the bad links and go after the perps with legal recourse.

Learn a sentence or 2 of Russian and when they call answer in Russian 🤣 I am working on this one. I try to spend at least 30 minutes each day trying to learn Russian. I am getting to where I can read it better than I can understand the spoken words.
