A handful of us went down this past weekend for our annual river trip. When you eat and drink better on the river than at home, It's getting out of hand. But there's NOTHING wrong with that!
Started at Hwy 16, took out at Rochelles. Flow was pretty good, only had to get out and pull on a short stretch towards the very end. Fishing was TOUGH, we usually knock them out, but nobody caught more than one. We also had our first ever encounter with a GW, at the first bend where it kicks left. Said a canoe had sunk in the area, the night before (Friday night/evening I assume). So he was looking at it in the day light, and checked life jackets. All in all a good time!

Iโ€™m going to applaud you for making a post that is out of the norm. Nowhere in here did I see whining about a package not being delivered on time, or carrying on about a bird feeder, or some other estrogen fueled rant.

who was the pack mule for all that food and gear? cast iron is some heavy stuff and ice cream on a kayak trip. really? food looks so good ya'll didn't have time to fish.
