When I caught my PB which was only a 12# I sat there and hyperventilated for 20 minutes or so.

I can tell you this...if it was me in that boat after I caught the first 12 I would have been giddy as a school girl, saying goofy things and shaking for 30 minutes. Then after I caught the 2nd 12 I would have needed help casting due to the lack of blood to my arms because I think they would be numb from the disbelief that had just happened. Then finally after I caught the 16, I would have taken all of my clothes off and starting speaking in tongues in a way that would think my giant body was in need of an exorcist. So, to me, these guys remained extremely calm compared to what I would have done.

Awesome video and damn what awesome fish. Congrats to them and everyone else that has caught these giants across the great State of Texas over the last month!

I thought mostly the same. He said he had so many emotions and was so exhausted at that point that he started dry heaving. Crazy for sure!

Very Impressive day of fishing, don’t really care for their personalities. Is that dude Zark smoking a blunt at the beginning of the video? Sounded like he had the giggles.

40lbs in 3 fish? I think I woulda sheet all over myself and made the other two clean me up....I wish they would hit AH next. There's SAL's in that lake that nobody fishes for, and tons of deep tree tops for them to be hiding out in.

Greatness.

Even if that was the case, one of them caught a freaking 16 pounder and several other nice ones. The other guy had a heck of a day himself

So they weighed it with their scale and it was 15lbs 8oz, then the ramp scale initially said 15.4lbs (basically the same weight), then it some how jumped up a full pound to 16.4lbs? I’d lean towards the scale in the boat being accurate.

They reweighed it twice without the added clip and was 16.4 both times.

But didn’t it go back to 15.2 after weighing 16.4 briefly? Did anyone ever see what TPWD said it weighed, from their Athens scale?

They will accept the weight from a certified scale even if it is higher than their (sharelunker) scales.
