If your house is warmer than average and have a somewhat reliable power situation and/or a generator and trust your fellow OTer, I’d encourage y’all to invite one without power and dropping home temps over to your home.

Take appropriate flu season and viral precautions.

I would, except Alabama is a bit of a drive.

Of the dozens of people my wife and I have invited over most seem to want to stay in their homes regardless.

I get it, I probably would to.

Texans are an independent bunch.

My wife put together a list of warming stations across the state if anybody wants it I can share it.

I have power and water if anyone needs some time to warm up. I can only offer Thursday night overnight as RJ is coming Friday.

A little late to this thread, but if you are in Wise County and need a place to shower, warm up, or even stay a night, hit me up. We have power and water. Haven't lost power yet (thankfully). It just the wife, me, and an old almost deaf, almost blind dog. We have a spare bedroom and bathroom that are open. I'd offer my camper, since it has power, but there is no water to it.

Yanet!!

Great idea on the thread but just seeing this now. We did a little firewood delivery over the last few days to some folks that were getting charged $1 - $3 a stick. That's just not right.

Everyone good on firewood? I can part with a little more.
