I currently own a Glock 22 in 40cal. It's the only handgun I own. I have several rifles, shotguns and one AR. I'm wanting to get another handgun for full time truck use. The glock 22 fits my hand well and I'm a decent shot with it. Would you suggest I just get another just like it or something else smaller form for the truck console? I'd still like to stay at least .40 cal. And please keep it under $1000

Look into the gun magnets and carry that one with you. Not endorsing this brand at all...but I have several of these kind of tings mounted in various places. It was nice until I sold all my guns to some guy named Bob.

Magnet holders.

If you like your Glock then get another one. They are good guns.
If you want to try a different brand look at a Walther PPQ. One of the best there is in that price range.

The .30 cal Auto Mag sure seems to cure road rage in a hurry.

glock 23, good capacity, .40 cal

smaller version of your 22. I carry one around the ranch, carry a 42 on me.

your 22 mags will also fit the 23. win, win!

Look at Sigs ... you can get in a 320 for $550. Good guns, easy to shoot accurately.

Glock 27 .40 with overall smaller size would be my first choice. In general it would seem better to stay same engineering if you like it and are familiar with the operation.

I've owned a Glock 22 in 40 caliber since 96 and I also have a SW Shield in 9 mm, but I carry the Glock 100% of the time.
Ever since open carry was passed, I don't worry if it should peek out from under my shirt and someone sees it.

Just one more cast!

If you like the Glock22 get another.

I own one and it's absolutely my favorite gun.

It's not cute or fancy...it's very accurate and more dependable than anything else out there. I've had mine for 18 years and shoot often, it's never not fired. Even with cheap [censored] ammunition it just keeps going.

I have a G35 which is a long slide version of the G22. Over 20k rounds through it and never an issues. Also keep a G27 on the night stand. Can't go wrong with another

I bought a Springfield XD 9mm, and got reacquainted with it a couple days ago.

I had shot it a few years back.

The XDs are very nice. Here's a comparison video from a well-known gun enthusiast.

He's doing everything he can to promote his love for Glocks, but it's obvious which he prefers.

You should try the XDm's with the threaded barrels instead
