That's funny David, reminded me about a day I was wade fishing at the Texas City Dike at the shell bed island. I was wearing a pair of Chuck Taylor high tops with extra long shoe laces to double around the top of the ankle to keep shells out. I guess one came untied so probably about 15 inches of string undulating under water. Suddenly my foot gets jerked off the bottom and I'm hopping on one foot for about 10 feet then get shallow enough to sit down and see a little 2.5 foot needle nose hung up on the shoe lace. Wasn't sure what was going on, kind of freaked me out at first.
