From what I can remember, it was Halloween week 2017.
Kim and I had gone to see a "movie on the patio" at the Angelica Theatre in Dallas.
It was a Hitchcock movie, "The Trouble with Harry."
Actually, a very, very young "Beaver Cleaver" was in it, well before he was the "Beav."

Anyway, on the way home, I was craving chocolate chip cookies.
It was late, Friday night, and we were driving home, so I suggested we stop at Central Market in Plano.

Once in the store, late night mind you, I grabbed a six-pack of pre-baked cookies from the bakery. They are really good!
I felt such guilt, but I wanted a cookie desperately, and didn't want to wait.
So I grabbed a single cookie off the shelf above the six-packs, and shoved it in my mouth.
I wondered if cameras caught me, and they probably did.
I chewed fast as I walked to the checkout line.

Once in the car, I told Kim what I did, and proceeded to eat more cookies.
Prior to that, I can't remember the time before that night I stole something, but that night was mine.

I last stole "1" chocolate chip cookie!

What about you? What was the last thing you stole?

My wife's heart. I so regret it. Thanks for the confessional thread. I'm feeling better. thumb

I found a five dollar bill on the kitchen counter.
In my house, it's finder's keepers.
Don't leave money laying around, or it'll go in my wallet, then immediately into a mutual fund/ETF.

When I first moved to HAWL, I brought home 356 new fence slats, the receipt had only 355 on it.

Ill-gotten treasures are my thing. You see, I am a federal worker.

Stole a look at a knock out blonde in a halter top yesterday. Neither her or my wife caught me.

Mr. TR176,
That's so simple, and so amusing!

Rock on!

she has told me I'm a great lover....... how can she make that claim without experience?

67 years ago. I was 3 and we were dirt poor. I took a candy bar from the store and walked out. My Mom walked me back in and made me pay the man and apologize. I was crying and ashamed but really didn't know it was bad to take a candy bar. Broke me of the habit right there and then.
