I bet they still gotta few of those they made in 1898, my mother is the only person I've ever known that liked those things. She would eat a slice with cold glass of Buttermilk.

I’ve been really lit a lot but never lit enough to think that sounds appetizing.

Watch out. Those things have a shelf life of around 100 years.

If anyone ever reproduces the exact taste of original Manor Texas Fruitcake, I will be happy.
Since the Manor bakery in Dallas closed down there has never been one that tasted anywhere near as good.
A lot of them are flat out nasty tasting.

That’s why if you ever get one just keep it until next year and give it to someone else.
