The Ray Hubbard Bass Cub will be having our third members only tournament of 2019, Saturday May 11th on Lake Bob Sandlin. Here is the information -

� When: Saturday May 11th
� Where: Lake Bob Sandlin - Titus County North Ramp (three lane ramp near the dam)
� Time: 6:05 AM - 3:00 PM
� Registration: 4:45 - 5:45 AM
� Entry Fee: $60.00 per boat � 2 person maximum


You MUST be an RHBC member to fish this tournament. We do not accept membership at the launch ramp, so if you want to fish this one, you will have needed to join the Club at our meeting this Thursday night at BPS Garland. Here is a link to the meeting information.

Meeting Info

Registration will be at the ramp starting at 4:45 on Saturday morning. When you register you will be given a numbered chip. You will need to to turn your chip in by placing it on the board to get your fish weighed. You will need to get your live well checked and a ribbon tied on to your trolling motor which must remain there until weigh in. You can then launch or trailer and go to your spot. No lines in the water until 6:05. Lines out at 3:00. There will be a 30 minute dead water period where no fishing is allowed at the end of the day. This is to give members time to get off the water, and the TD's time to get the weigh in set up. The chip must be back on the board with the Tournament Director by 3:30. Weigh in will start then. If your chip is not on the board at the specified time, a 1 pound per minute penalty will be assessed. After 15 minutes your catch will be marked as 0. You will be called to the scales by boat number. Leave your fish in the live well until your number is called! Keep the water treated! See you at the ramp!

Congratulations go out to Vince Burt and Mark Werner who crushed it today on Bob Sandlin. They weighed five for an amazing 26.87 pounds to take the win by over 10 pounds! Their bag included a 7.27 kicker. Big bass of the tournament went to Derek Sullivan and Maurice Williams with a 7.56 beast. Full results and pictures will be posted next week! 39 boats fished in the steady rain. Thanks for coming out!

That was my first time to change out a livewell pump on the water. Already having a limit and being in a tournament made it a bit stressful. The thunderstorm didn't help either. If you heard a bunch of screaming and swearing, and saw two legs sticking up out of the back compartment of a Skeeter- that was me. Got it wired in and switched out and we didn't lose a fish so I was happy with our 2nd place finish.
