Crappie Anglers of Texas will host the Extravaganza May 4th at Avalon Park, Lake Lavon; 11am.

This will also be the Junior Angler tournament that morning from 8 am - noon. 5 fish limit. Two junior angler divisions; 10 and under; and 11-17
Sign up at Avalon Park boat ramp 7-8 am Sat morning May 4th. ENTRY IS FREE

Mr Crappie, Wally Marshall, will be there with some great prizes for the juniors. And to greet anglers and talk crappie fishing.

Plenty of door prizes

Hamburgers, hot dogs available, bring your own drinks

Corn hole, horse shoes, volleyball, and maybe some more games

Forecast for Saturday is looking good, rain chance down to 10%, light winds and high of 79.
Bring the kids out and let them fish. Or just be there around noon to enjoy the weigh-in and food and fellowship.

Mr Crappie, Wally Marshall, will be on hand with prizes for the lids and to mingle and talk crappie fishing with everyone.

As always, there will be plenty of prizes given away.

Bring chairs and drinks. There will be water and tea available.

Great time at Lavon today. Weather cleared nicely by 8:30 and sunshine was plentiful.

Jr anglers brought in fish and took home lots of prizes. And some money also.

Plenty of burgers and hot dogs and more prizes; Bonehead rods and baits, Todd Huckabee rods, enough jigs to fill the boat with crappie, and lots more.

And the fishing tales just got better the longer we told them.

Thanks to everyone that came out and enjoyed the fun.

It was a beautiful day by the lake!! Great job done by the Board of CAT putting on a family friendly event!! Loved seeing the junior anglers� smiles and enjoyed the fellowship!! Another example of what CAT was formed to be!!

We had a blast for sure. Noah learned alot about all aspects of the sport beyond just fishing on Saturday morning. He was a real trooper.

I got something in my eye mowing the other night and by late Friday night I was contemplating heading to the ER! Finally got where I could shut my eye without being in pain and went to bed. Woke up to a soaked pillow and my eye felt better. Woke little man up at 415 and it was pouring rain here. He said he was out. Sadly I didn't fight him about it much. Went back to bed and he come in at 630 and asked if it was time to go!! Told him it was too late! Good job y'all! Thanks to Tommy and Jerry for taking a day off they coulda had trips to do the kids tourney!! Looks like it turned out to be a great day.
