I just upgraded to a solix and while I was successful at getting the boatlanes for fork installed it shows multiple lines. Most are close but some cut corners and are different enough that I wont know which to follow. Mainly worried about the lines that are unmarked by buoys. Does anyone know how to correct this?

I didn't have any issues when I put it on my solix, but there was thread in the past month or 2 from someone who had an issue but was able to fix it. Might try searching the forum for "boat lanes issue" and see if it comes up.

Did boatane files come from Boatlanes or previous unit? What files did you import, MATRIX folder or GPX?

I tried it both ways. I have the solix networked with a 999. All the waypoints showed up this way but none of the routes. So I turned off the 999 and deleted all nav data on the solix and installed the BOATLANES from the original download just copying the gpx file directly to the sd card. This shows the routes but there are 2 or 3 stacked and in some places a slightly different trail. For instance coming out of lake fork marina there are two different trails then when it turns south the trails are fairly far apart. Not near as bad as on the link that shallow waters posted. My trails dont run over dry land. Just makes me uncomfortable knowing which trail is safe especially in unmarked waters.

Using Google Earth the current tracks for Fork Boatlanes @ Lake Fork Marina area should look like this.
I didn't include the waypoints.

There is the old guide run from LFM to Hwy 515 bridge.
There is the old guide run from LFM to Mustang.
There is the new run from LFM directly to SRA buoyed lanes.

Most vendors have waypoints, routes and tracks(trails).
Lowrance calls them trails. Humminbird calls them tracks. Current Boatlanes has no routes, only waypoints and tracks.

Humminbird will network waypoints. HB waypoints physically exist only on the unit they were created on or imported into. Other units can display these waypoints via the Ethernet network. If the waypoint's unit is powered off, then the waypoint will disappear on the network.

Tracks are not networked, so they must exist on a unit.

I would recommend you import Boatlanes on any unit located at the boat console. IMO, Boatlanes is not necessary on a bow unit.
You should definitely delete any previous Boatlane tracks. And possibly waypoints also.

I have heard that one of the Elite Series Pro has knocked off his lower unit during practice using a navigational aid other than Lake Fork Guide Lanes. Lake Fork Guide Lanes were extremely accurately mapped out during 7'+ low lake drought lake levels and only 5 dollars more than competing brands of navigational aids on Fork. The Lake Fork Guide Lanes Cards are now available at the Minnow Bucket Marina, Crappie Haven, and at Lake Fork Marina. Some of the top level bass fishing professionals and successful local guides on the lake are using them and now they are finally available to the public. Drive Less, Catch More!

Ok I got this figured out. Thought I would post in case anyone else has the same problem. I was under the impression that I should use the gpx file that comes on the BOATLANES download but that is what gave me the problems. When I just copied the 000.ht and data.hwr straight to the sd card and then imported both of those files it gave me the correct trail and waypoints. Although I dont too much like how the solix shows the waypoints but I can live with it. Thanks for all the suggestions and replys.

You could import it as a line rather than a dash. It shows as a line on my unit. I can remember the process now and boat is not here now, but I know during the import process you can set it as a line rather than dashes

Talked with the BOATLANES people and they fixed me up. Awesome people to deal with.
