Paying it forward is always a great thing to do!

I have two different buddy's that lost a Rod on Travis fishing with me. 1 was lost on the west bank about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile north out of Bee Creek. I think it was a Basspro Carbonlite rod. Not sure what type of reel he had. Person's name was Gary Olson who is a veteran and served in Iraq. The second one was lost on the north bank of Pale Face and about half way up the long stretch before you get to the Colorado and Perdenales. Not sure what rod but it had an older green Curado on it. Jerry Miller was the owner.

If the rod you found was in a different area, then these are probably not my friends rods. If the rod was found in this area and match this description, I can either get you in touch with my friends or I can meet you and get the rod back to them. I could take the reel apart, do a good cleaning internally and make it like new for them. I highly expect they would be extremely grateful to get it back. I live in Austin and willing to drive a good distance. I can be reached @ 512-731-3515.
