Well I am still at a loss for words right now. Another Unbelievable day today on Lake Fork for big fish. In all my 28 years of Crappie fishing I’ve never had a day like today for Big Crappie.

Walter and Jessica drove down from Illinois to fish with me on Lake Fork. Walter told me on the phone I’m not interested in numbers they wanted to fish for big fish only. And that’s what we did today.
I’m always nervous when I run a trip on Lake Fork, especially when people drive a long ways to do it.
Today while driving to the lake I asked God for just one big fish. At least one personal best for one of the clients.But instead he bless both of them with their personal best Crappie ever Jessica had a 2.75 pounder an Walter had a 2.71 pounder unbelievable fish.

This couple put a killing on the big slab Crappie today!!! They had six fish a 2.24, 2.47, 2.49, 2.60, 2.71, 2.75, for a
Total of 15.26 pounds on six fish not 7 fish we had another two pounder come off at the boat that come off that would put us at 17 pound stringer!!! We ended the day with 20 big slabs.
Guys live scope played a big part of this trip. Without it we wouldn’t of even seen these fish. It is an awesome tool. But very frustrating to learn. I want to give more credit to where it’s due to my buddy Jerry Hancock. For helping me learn how to us live scope, he’s been coaching me and I got to see it on this boat this week and that help out tremendously. And thanks for not letting me throw mine in the lake Jerry when I got frustrated with it.😂😂

And last but not least I want to thank the good Lord for an awesome blessed day on the water. It’s hard to believe that I wake up every morning and get to do what I love to do and share it with other people. And it’s all because of one thing God Grace and his mercy and the love he has for us all.
Thank you guys again for letting me be your guide. Days like today make my job the best there is.
