I was wondering if anyone else out there is struggling. I have thrown jigs, jerkbaits , chatters, swim jog and rattle traps and just not getting bit. Any suggestions?

Try some plastics. Senkos, flukes, etc. And slow, slow, slow.

Winter pond fishing can be tricky. I've found that senkos/worms/jigs being dragged slow doesn't work for me very well in highly pressured ponds. These fish see the same soft plastics drug in front of them time after time and I think they wont go out of their way to eat one unless really hungry. I try to elicit a reaction strike with a chrome blade bait or rattle trap. Rip the bait like your fishing grass and let it flutter back down to the bottom. Ripping and fluttering down keeps it in the strike zone longer so they don't have to chase it like on a constant retrieve. Most of your bites will come after your bait hits the bottom. Watch your line and once the bait hits the bottom you'll see your line jump and then set the hook. Won't work everywhere, but that seems to work for me better than anything else.

Drop shot a 4inch robo worm. throw it out and slowly work it back. I love throwing out a drop shot (nose hooked or trig) and
working it back slowly. no one really does this on the few ponds i fish.

Try a 4 inch zoom watermelon centipede texas rig with half of a 1/32 nail weight in the end. 10 lb fluoro. Let it fall on slack line.

May want to try the Tokyo rig.

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!

Underspin and a keitech, if you have vegetation then use an Owner flashy swimmer. If sunny, cast in inches of water parallel up the bank, the fish like to get warm quick when they can. I recently did this in a pond I've never fished, caught some good one's up to 4 pounds in inches of stained water.

Chartreuse and blue H&H . Old school standby. Sharpen the hooks then hang on.
