Lane is making a big run. He can catch fish in a pitcher full of mud.

Commentary is tough to watch on BPT. Not impressed.

I really wanted to sit down and watch a round before I made any judgement. After watching today I just did not get excited. The commentary was bland, the anglers didn't appear near as excited when they would catch a fish, and the atmosphere just wasn't what BASS or even FLW provides. I am not wishing any ill-will towards BPT at all, but I can see in a few years some of these anglers making a break back for BASS or FLW. It is not sustainable to rely solely on sponsor dollars and no entry fee anyways. That is my observation after having watched today. I may dabble in it from time to time because I still love to watch fishing, but I won't set aside time to watch live like I did with BASS and FLW.

Couldnt have said it any better. I watched a lot of BASS live last weekend and this seemed like a joke.

The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.

Well didnt help the slug fest bass had just a few days ago. Makes this tough to watch but also cool to see how they catch them with struggling conditions

Of course I think it helps if its on a lake that you have interest in, all information is good. I think its gonna be good for TV. Ill watch it when I can, and maybe my opinion will change. Just does not generate alot of interest from me.

I always like the factor that you have to do well to stay in, like BASS and FLW. I like the financial aspect of it, and the go for it all mentality, love watching someone whose barely getting by and wins a tournament. Everyone gets paid, no fees, kinda makes me feel like competition will slowly die off . Heck we all want that, but is it good for the sport? Guess we will find out.

Only half the field gets paid. Same as BASS and FLW
