Are they that good? I see lots of people use them. Is there a preferred sent? Do you use them all the time?

Some folks swear by them. some use them only as a last resort and some don't use them at all. It's just a matter of preference.

Best "attachment" I ever had experience with for crappie was a dried out package of Gulp smelt minnows. They were stiff and dry. We weren't having any luck with just a plain crappie jig, so I attached one of these to the jig. Caught 3 big crappie and a couple of bass before emptying the package. It was crazy.

Don't use them myself but see others do. A scent added to the lure would do the same thing.

My wife swore by them but they never seemed to make a difference for me. I suspect it is personal preference.

My wife and I tried them tipped on plastic jigs and didn't catch any crappie but they are deadly used on a bare hook for bluegills

I'm pro nibble.
Literally have caught thousands on them using plastic and hand-tied jigs.
Really like the sheen they put off in the water as I work the jig.

They can help when the bite is slow but are not needed most of the time.

For me on LOP they really do make a difference .

I have set on a brush pile getting a bite every drop with the nibble, have a fish knock the nibble off and pitch back 3 or 4 time without it and not get a bite.
Put another nibble on a catch a fish on the next drop.

4 to 1 withh berkley crappie nibble.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
