Been years since I stayed in the Falcon Heights roach motel. I often wondered if it was still there along with all the bugs.

Been years since I stayed in the Falcon Heights roach motel. I often wondered if it was still there along with all the bugs. Much improved over the old days. Still a long ways from the store, but decent accommodations by Falcon standards.

Hot shower, mini fridge, toliet, cable TV..the basics. Lots of fisherman around to BS with. Outdoor kitchen and random pups and cats. No frills but 3 mins to the state park and price is right. Dont bring women here if they are fancy. Its old and shows it for sure but for dudes fishing its good.

haven't been there in a couple years but always thought Osa Blanco was a good fishermans motel in Zapata....rooms were large with kitchen table,sink refrigerator,stove etc and was near several restaurants if you didn't want to deal with cooking...

Fishing is slow today, I’ve zeroed so far, lost a rod, and had a slice of humble pie for lunch. Leaving State Park and headed to Tigers. Lots of wind. Dan sticking it out at SP.
