I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm glad Grandpa is no longer suffering. It was tough feeling his pain, frustration, boredom and loneliness in some of his posts. You will be missed Charlie! angel2

Well, I must agree - there was some of all of what you describe to be felt when reading his posts and yes, I felt it too. I'm only two years back of Charlie and I have to admit I'm almost not looking forward to experiencing the breakdown of the engine that has kept me kicking these past 7 decades. I remember when oldfrog went to gpa's trailer in Marshall and dragged him kicking and screaming to the hospital - gpa almost died and likely would have had it not been for another curmudgeon - where is OF now?
We've all been here through the thick of it when gpa had to go to the hospital - I think he sometimes went just to get a decent wifi signal.
When I'd surf the TFF in the evening Mary would ask "What's grandpa up to today?" and I'd paraphrase his exploits for her. She passed in April and I have no doubt she greeted him at the rainbow bridge with Buckwheat in her arms. Mary never met a stranger and I'm sure she welcomed him with open arms.
Today I'm Thankful that Charlie and Mary are no longer suffering.
May they Rest in Peace in the sight of God.

RIP Charlie!
I was fortunate enough to get to meet him and got to take him and Hop to lunch one day at Oak Ridge Marina a couple of years ago. We had a good visit.
My prayers and sincerest condolences sent!
