Fishing has just been outstanding the past few weeks at Arrowhead. It is still strange to me to show up to a boat ramp out here and see an almost empty parking lot after fishing Lewisville for so many years but I'm loving it. Not much fishing pressure here compared to that and the bite has been on fire lately with this cool weather that blew in. Caught most of them today in around 15 ft in coves with derricks nearby in them trying to get out of the wind. Ended the day with 43 or so caught on 1/8 double rigged jigs on black or white/chart rocky tops. The wind and rain wasn't fun early on but catching the fish always helps overlook that part.

Oh man!!!..Your bro is killin' me L C...with me being stuck at work too!!!  ....Great job on those slab Chad!!!!....i would freak out too having fished a crowded Lewisville for a while..LOL...Especially summertime

RRS I know arrowhead is in your backyard now but have you tried waurika just across in OK? Its a great crappie and blue cat lake and has awesome hybrid in there as well

Arrowhead is a great blue cat lake. My son actually holds the junior lake record there for blue cat
