Last week’s results: ATS: 4-5-1 (34-24-2) SU:2-2 (19-10)
This week’s previews will be short as I am busy today, and will be on the road tomorrow.
2 Georgia -7.5 @ 13 LSU 2:30 CBS UGA gets it’s first real challenge of the season. Till now they have played one ranked team (ranked at time of the game) #24 South Carolina. LSU comes in with one loss last week vs Florida. They had climbed all the way to #5 before the loss. Both teams are starting a tough string of games vs ranked opponents. Death Valley will be alive on Saturday. UGA 32 LSU 24 UGA covers
7 Washington -3.5 @ 17 Oregon 2:30 ABC/ESPN2 Two future first round QBs face off in this rivalry game that enters it’s 111th game. After winning 12 straight against the Huskies the Ducks have lost the last two. This game pits the powerful Ducks offense that average 503.6 yards and 45.6 points per game this season, both ranking in the top 15 in the nation, against the Huskies passing defense that's given up three scores on the season, third best in the nation. The Huskies surrender 13.7 points per game, also third best in the nation. Autzen stadium will be rocking. WASH 28 ORE 21 WASH covers
22 Texas A&M -2.5 @ South Carolina 2:30 SECN SC comes in with a banged up starting QB, and the Aggies come off a huge win over Kentucky. The Aggies go on the road and their running game leads them to a win. A&M 26 SC 18 A&M covers
15 Wisconsin @ 12 Michigan -9 6:30 ABC Both of these teams come into the game with BIGTEN title hopes still alive. They have one common opponent between them in Nebraska and both of them rolled over the Huskers. This game will be decided by how well Shea Patterson faces against the Badgers secondary, and how well Wisconsin can run the ball on a stout Michigan defense. WISC 25 MICH 38 Mich covers
Baylor @ 9 Texas -14 2:30 ESPN Texas comes into this game after a huge win in Dallas against Oklahoma. They have beat three top 25 teams in a row, but they better not overlook Baylor. The Bears have lost two games to OU and Duke that just suffered their first loss. Their four wins have not been impressive with victories over ACU, KU, KSU, and UTSA. Look for Texas to try and get their running game going as they have managed to piece a running game between three main backs (not counting QB Sam Ehlinger who has 225yrds). BU 13 TEX 42 TEX covers
Other games ATS COL +7.5 covers vs USC USF -7 covers vs Tulsa FLA -7 covers vs VANDY TT +7.5 covers vs TCU (made that pick for a buddy I don’t like it) NW -4.5 covers vs NEB

Do you think Coach Scott Frost at Nebraska would like a re-do, and just stay at Central Florida (currently 5-0 and #10 in the AP poll). Nebraska is 0-5, getting their azz kicked every Saturday, and are dead last in the Big 10 West division. matter of fact they are dead last in the entire Big 10. Northwestern is probably licking their chops about playing them this week.

Texas Tech plays TCU in FW tonight and that might be a good game. For sure it will be a high scoring one. TT is averaging over 48 PPG and the toads are over 30. Tech will beat Butch's frogs by at least a TD.

Im not feeling good about my Frogs. They are really struggling on offense. Defense is going to have to slow Tech down to win.

Well, I agree on 2 picks. But I'll take LSU, Oregon, and South Carolina. When the matchups look to be close I take the home team.

Colorado (5-0) is a 7 point dog to a very mediocre USC (3-2).
I’d be all over the Buffs like a bear in heat
