I needed to consult with attorney first

Sunday at the media bass championship on Sam Rayburn
I William Flournoy failed polygraph question pertaining to rules
Of media bass

I took the polygraph two times failed the question both times
I do not know why ,media bass does not know why, I was throwing a
Indicated deception on the polygraph

Lynn Atkinson took the polygraph and passed it to my knowledge

I asked the tournament director to please get the written rules of the
Tournament and go over them with me and get to the bottom of this
Before he ruined my life and he simply told me he didn�t have time for that

Everyone should have the right to know what rule they have broken and every tournament
Director should have a obligation to the members of the organization to determine what rules
have been broken or determine exactly what happened.

My goal in all of this is to bring the facts to the table and figure out what happened
not only for me but for each and every person that takes a polygraph examination
In the future

I have took multiple polygraphs over the past ten years by multiple examiners
And never had a issue

The gentleman that gave the polygraph exams was Paul Shipper license #
3151 with he is a polygraph examiner trainee under Texas statute and studying under
Micheal Fincher license # 1105

�88.71� of Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations code
A preliminary opinion of the results of a polygraph examination must ,
If requested be given by trainee for examinations administered outside
The direct observation of sponsor. The trainee must advise the examinee
That that the opinion is preliminary until the examination is reviewed
and an opinion is given by the sponsor�

I was made aware of the fact that he was a trainee Monday morning when I spoke with the board

But please do not speculate or spread rumors or lies if you are going to post or report
anything please make it constructive or factual

Rumors hurt people and ruin life�s and are very hard to overcome a lot of damage has

Well said William, sorry you and Lynn are getting drug through the mud.

You stated in paragraph 3 you were asked the "question" 2 times and failed both times.
Can you share what question you are referring to?

I feel for ya... I hate taking them too but its all the industry has to use because people do cheat. I wish you well...

when flournoys partner passed the test,the tournament director should have recognized there was no cheating going on and awarded them the check they were due.....another poor decision by media bass and deserving of a lawsuit.....

Well said William!

Any person with any real life experience / understanding of polygraphs and how they work would not judge you based on a failed test. I've seen people pass them when there was insurmountable proof they were lying. I've also seen people who were 100% innocent fail them. I'm not sure what the answer is on regulating fishing tournaments, but without supporting evidence I would argue a failed test alone is not sufficient evidence to disqualify a competitor.

I hope I/we do. We sure work hard at it. I believe you sir are getting screwed my Mediabass and I'm sorry that you and your partner are being treated like this. It seems that if both were given the test and one passed that should be suffice to keep your respected finish.
I'm not sure what is going on with Mediabass lately but they need to get it turned around.

Well I can cross Media Bass off my tournaments list for next year.

There is a reason why a Poly isn't admissible in a criminal trial or proceeding. unfortunately some organizations place too much credit on the findings alone without looking at the big picture. I Hope you are able to work this out!
