My uncle was a self-taught economist and investor. Stayed engaged in all matters financial until his early 90's. One of the smartest and best informed men I ever knew. Watched financial networks and subscribed to news letters. When content started moving online he took a course on the internet at local college at age 86. In the age of discount brokers and internet you don't need much capital to have a little skin in the game.
